We are looking for a motivated and reliable Estate Technician to join our client’s team in Kirkby, Liverpool. This is a permanent full-time role (Monday to Friday). This hands-on role is essential in maintaining and improving outdoor communal areas and estate environments. You will play a key role in identifying repair needs and carrying out a range of maintenance and installation works across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect a company transit van and travel to various sites as required (working as part of a team, you may not be required to drive on every shift)
- Flag and report repairs and installation requirements to paths and patio areas
- Carry out cement repair works to external surfaces and structures
- Install eco drains and assist with drainage improvements where required
- Carry out fencing repairs and installation works
- Ensure outdoor areas are maintained to a high standard across multiple properties and estates
- Conduct basic machine and equipment maintenance, including cleaning equipment, performing routine checks, and arranging repairs when necessary
- Work as part of a team to ensure all works are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
- Follow health and safety procedures while working across a variety of site conditions
- Some other duties may be required
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable
- Experience with basic groundworks, fencing, or external maintenance works
- Physically fit and able to carry out manual duties
- Full, clean UK driving licence with experience driving a transit van
- Strong work ethic and ability to work in outdoor environments
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
