This role is NOT open to applications from those who will require sponsorship under the points-based system. At Glenelg Support, we provide exceptional care for individuals with autism, learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and mental health needs in a supported living environment. We pride ourselves on working closely with both individuals and their families to develop personalised support plans that make a real difference in people’s lives.

We are currently looking for dedicated and compassionate Support Workers to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who share our core values and have the skills to support those in need. Our homes are based across Liverpool and we currently offer full-time permanent contracts. The services do require drivers. Due to the Mobility Car Insurance we can only accept drivers with a full UK/EU Manual driving licence with no endorsement and penalty points – we cannot accept international or provisional licences.

For these roles, we seek individuals who can bring a deep understanding of these areas and demonstrate the ability to provide tailored support. If you have experience in these fields, your knowledge and skills will be invaluable in helping us deliver high-quality care to those who need it most.

Responsibilities:

  • Support individuals to develop independent living skills at home, such as cleaning, cooking, personal care, laundry, budgeting, and meal planning.
  • Assist with managing appointments related to health and housing needs, and administer medication when required.
  • Encourage and support individuals to engage with the community and participate in activities they enjoy, promoting their independence and well-being.
