An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic team member in the Estates and Facilities Department to serve as a Facilities Management Assistant (FMA) Domestic at Clockview Hospital. The postholder will provide cleaning and housekeeping services around the Secure Division, ensuring National cleaning standards, PLACE requirements and CQC standards are met.
Responsibilities
- Carry out cleaning and catering duties to maintain the high standards of the department.
- Work to deadlines and deliver work of a high standard of quality.
- Provide a high standard of cleanliness at all times within an acute mental health ward environment.
- Work independently or as part of a team, understanding health and safety and safe working practices.
- Manage time effectively during shift.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience in a similar role such as cleaning or catering, preferably within the NHS.
- Knowledge of National Standards of Cleanliness and NHS Colour Coding.
- Good communication skills, pleasant personality, positive attitude and willingness to work within a mental health ward environment.
- Understanding of health and safety, safe working practices.
- Experience of dealing with people.
Working Hours
Shift Pattern: Saturday and Sunday 15:00–19:00 hours; 8 hours per week. Some experience in a similar role would be beneficial, but full training will be given.
