We are looking for a passionate, resilient and highly experienced Assistant Manager to lead our Environmental Services team nights at Liverpool ONE. This is a vital role where you will take full responsibility for delivering exceptional high standards across both cleaning and waste operations, ensuring the estate is safe, compliant and ready for the day ahead.

You will lead, coach and support a team of Team Leaders and Operatives by driving performance, maintaining service standards and creating a positive and productive working environment.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Lead and manage the night Environmental Services team across cleaning and waste operations
  • Ensure high standards are consistently delivered in line with Service Level Agreements
  • Manage staff levels, resource, equipment and schedules
  • Carry out audits, inspections and compliance checks
  • Support team development through coaching, performance reviews and engagement
  • Ensure all health, safety and environmental standards are met
  • Liaise with stakeholders, brand partners and internal teams
  • Support incident management and act as Duty Manager when required.

Essential Skills

  • Leadership experience within an environmental, cleaning, waste or facilities management role.
  • Ability to motivate and manage teams to achieve performance targets
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Experience working in fast-paced environments.
  • Understanding and knowledge of health and safety practices
  • Confident communication and reporting skills
  • Comfortable working night shifts

Desirable

  • Health and Safety qualifications such as IOSH, COSHH and WAMITAB.
