Our Liverpool based Customs operation is looking for a proactive and customer centric Customs Coordinator to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Support both import and export activities, ensuring smooth and accurate customs clearances.
- Use systems such as Cargowise, Destin8 and CNS to manage inventory links and prepare precise documentation.
- Ensure all customs clearances for goods entering and leaving the UK are completed accurately and on time.
- Manage and resolve customs queries, including post‑clearance actions, while monitoring pending clearances.
- Communicate regularly with customers, building strong, long‑lasting relationships and providing guidance at every stage of the process.
- Maintain exceptional attention to detail to avoid delays or errors and support the wider operation.
Schedule: 4‑on‑4 off shifts, 7 AM to 7 PM.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in customs clearance or import operations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Confident use of IT systems, especially Microsoft Office; experience with Cargowise is an advantage.
- Excellent problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Supportive team player who contributes positively to the wider operation.
