Key Responsibilities
- Deliver one-to-one GCSE Maths and English lessons, tailored to SEN learning profiles.
- Adapt teaching methods and lesson content to support emotional regulation and individual learning styles.
- Support students in building confidence in their subject knowledge, study skills, and exam readiness.
- Create a safe, nurturing, and consistent learning environment that fosters student growth.
- Track and monitor student progress, providing feedback to parents/carers or professionals when necessary.
Essential Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience teaching or tutoring in Maths or English.
- Experience working with SEN students in one-to-one or small group settings.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undertake one).
Desirable Qualifications
- PGCE in Secondary Education and/or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience working with students with Autism, ADHD, or SEMH needs.
