Complex Care Merseyside & West Lancashire

Salary: Up to £42,000

This is a role for a nurse who wants to do more than clinical work. You’ll be leading and supporting regional nursing teams delivering complex care across Merseyside and West Lancashire, including tracheostomy, ventilated patients, and high-dependency community packages.

What the role involves:

  • Provide clinical oversight across a complex caseload
  • Mentor and supervise nursing teams
  • Conduct audits and compliance reviews
  • Lead on incident investigation and improvement
  • Develop care plans and risk assessments
  • Coordinate package transitions
  • Deliver clinical training to your team
  • Participate in the on-call rota

This isn’t a desk job. You’ll be visible, hands-on where it matters, and the clinical anchor for your region.

What we need from you:

  • Current NMC registration with valid PIN
  • Experience in complex community care
  • Tracheostomy and ventilated patient care essential
  • Leadership experience or a clear ambition to lead
  • Solid understanding of CQC regulations and clinical governance
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle with business insurance
