We are seeking an organised, reliable and professional care allocation and scheduling planner to join our team. This role is central to ensuring the smooth allocation of care services, effective rota planning and maintaining strong communication with both staff and service users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, manage and maintain staff rotas to ensure safe and effective care delivery
  • Work confidently on a live scheduling system, updating allocations in real time
  • Allocate cover for staff absences, sickness and annual leave
  • Manage holiday requests in line with service needs
  • Build and maintain a strong professional rapport with care staff and service users
  • Handle incoming telephone calls professionally and efficiently
  • Participate in the on call rota, covering one weekend per month
  • Respond flexibly to occasional additional hours when required to meet service demands.
