We are seeking a committed and resilient SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Leyland, helping pupils with special educational needs reach their full potential.

Location: Leyland

Monday to Friday – 08:30 to 15:30

Pay: £110 per day (inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay.)

About the Role

  • Support children on a 1:1 and small group basis, helping them access learning, build confidence, and thrive in a structured and nurturing classroom environment.
  • Work closely with teaching staff and support teams to ensure every child receives the support they need.

Ideal Candidates

  • Experience in care work, security, military, nursing, police, or other challenging and high-responsibility environments.
  • Experience working in schools would also be highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Support children with special educational needs through 1:1 and small group sessions.
  • Assist in accessing learning activities and build confidence.
  • Create a structured and nurturing classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff and support teams.

  • Full training and ongoing support provided.
