Within the Children’s Outpatient’s department we really value our staff, all staff play an important role in the day to day running of our clinical services making sure that patient care is at the forefront of all we do. This post will support the Children’s Outpatient Clinic located at Royal Preston Hospital working with our booking team and on our main reception.
Responsibilities
- You will be required to submit evidence of your qualifications for this position.
- If your qualifications were obtained overseas, please ensure that you acquire a Statement of Comparability from UK ENIC to facilitate a clear understanding of how your qualifications align with UK standards.
- As part of the digital transformation, we are constantly looking at innovative ways and ideas to transform administrative tasks.
- You may provide creative ideas that can make a difference and have an impact on our vision.
- You will work with the administrative team to support across our division and help transform the way we provide face to face and all other means of patient administrative contact services.
- You will be a part of the team that seeks to deliver a ‘digital first’ approach.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with clinicians, managers and others within the Specialty Business Unit and with trust wide service users.
Qualifications and Skills
- You will have excellent communication skills and you love to interact with patients to ensure that our patients receive the best patient experience.
- You are eager to learn about the Trust’s outpatient appointment booking processes and the systems that support this function, specifically the National Spine, Flex and BI Portal.
- We are looking for someone who is eager to learn and to help innovate to keep improving things.
