Your new company Desian Education are proud to be supporting a Warrington-based two-form entry full capacity primary school as they are looking to appoint an experienced and dedicated teaching assistant to support across the reception and year 1 classes. This is an extremely exciting long-term opportunity that will last the remainder of the academic year where you will play an integral part in the education of the reception and year 1 classes.

As a teaching assistant within this school you will lead on individual and small group interventions in key areas including numeracy, literacy, phonics and fine motor skills. You will liaise with class teachers to gauge pupil attainment needs and individually plan 1:1 and small group interventions to support their development.

What you need to succeed:

  • Have full 'Right to Work' in the UK
  • Be willing to undergo an enhanced DBS screening
  • Have strong knowledge of the EYFS and KS1 national curriculums
  • Experience planning, preparing and delivering interventions in numeracy, literacy and phonics (RWI)
  • Be able to commit to a long-term full-time contract
  • Have an Enhanced Children's DBS certificate or willingness to obtain
