Job Summary
Support students to reach their full potential by delivering tailored support that enhances learning, engagement and well-being. Implement planned learning activities and teaching programmes as agreed with the teacher and adjust activities according to student responses. Deliver measurable impact on student attainment as well as social and emotional well-being. Work collaboratively with relevant colleagues to fulfil the role requirements.

Key Requirements and Qualifications
- Experience or willingness to work in a single form entry school (essential).
- Understanding of classroom roles and responsibilities and how a teaching assistant supports students.
- Ability to engage students and manage behaviour on a one-to-one or small group basis.
- Strong interpersonal skills with empathy and active listening.
- Good planning and organisational skills with regard to learning activities and support materials.
- Commitment to inclusion and acceptance of all pupils.
- Relevant NVQ Level 2/3 in supporting teaching and learning or equivalent, first aid qualification.
- Commitment to undertake relevant qualifications for ongoing professional development.
