Our client, a well-established franchise-approved car dealership based in Leominster, is seeking an experienced and professional Workshop Controller to join their busy Service Department.

- Basic salary of approximately £34,000 per annum, with performance-related bonuses reaching £40,000 on-target earnings

- Overseeing customer vehicle progress, liaising with service reception to ensure customer satisfaction
- Monitoring workshop performance against KPIs and identifying areas for improvement
- Planning and scheduling work allocation, balancing workload and skills
- Identifying training and development needs within the team
- Maintaining workshop standards in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Ensuring adherence to brand service requirements and customer satisfaction indicators
- Supporting the team to deliver high-quality repair and service standards Requirements for the Workshop Controller position:
- Previous experience as a Workshop Controller or in a similar managerial role within an automotive service environment preferred; training will be provided to suitable Workshop Controllers
- Proven track record in an automotive aftersales role such as Vehicle Technician or Service Advisor
- Strong organisational and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Results-oriented with problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Focus on quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction
- IT literacy; experience with CDK/Kerridge systems advantageous
- Hold a valid UK driving licence with minimal points
