We are seeking a motivated, caring and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our supportive primary school family. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a vibrant setting supporting children’s learning, development and wellbeing. You will work closely with class teachers to provide high-quality support both in and out of the classroom, helping pupils to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the learning and development of pupils across the primary age range
- Work with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning and support SEND needs
- Assist the teacher in preparing and delivering engaging lessons
- Promote positive behaviour and inclusive practice
- Support pupils’ social and emotional wellbeing
- Help to create a safe, stimulating and supportive learning environment
- Provide feedback to teachers on pupil progress
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have experience working with children in a school or similar setting
- Be patient, positive and supportive
- Have good communication and teamwork skills
- Be adaptable and able to meet the needs of different learners
- Have experience working with children with SEND
- Demonstrate a commitment to safeguarding and promoting children’s welfare
- Hold Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
