Location: Leek, Staffordshire. Pay: £13.86 - £14.61 per hour. Right to work in the UK required; sponsorship not available. Work patterns: Long day shifts including early starts, late evenings, and weekends, fairly planned within the rotas.
What You’ll Do
- Support children and young people (ages 3–18) with learning disabilities with personal care, daily routines, and preparing for school.
- Prepare meals, help with meal times, and ensure safe bed‑time routines.
- Assist with light housekeeping and create a warm, homely environment.
- Build strong, meaningful relationships and provide emotional support.
- Plan and join fun activities such as trips to the park, popcorn & movie nights, or creative projects.
- Keep essential records using the electronic care recording system, documenting, monitoring, and updating children’s and young people’s records accurately.
- Use digital systems confidently as part of the day‑to‑day role.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Full training provided. No prior experience required.
- Must hold a manual driver’s licence (vehicles provided at the home).
- Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends.
- Experience with Clearcare is an advantage but not essential.
