Salary and Working Hours: Starting salary: £37,375 for a 39‐hour week (including 20% unsocial allowance). After initial 37‐hour training, you may choose 37, 39, or 41 hour weeks. Annual salaries: 37 hrs – £33,746; 39 hrs – £35,875; 41 hrs – £38,003.

Visa Sponsorship: Skilled Worker visa sponsorship may be available for this role, subject to eligibility and UK Immigration Rules. Sponsorship is not guaranteed; applicants must maintain Right to Work in the UK.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • At least 18 years old
  • Meet Civil Service nationality requirements
  • Pass a medical and fitness assessment (physically active job)
  • Meet required eyesight standards in both eyes (with or without corrective lenses)
  • Meet suitable hearing standard (no hearing aids)
  • DBS check required
  • Tattoos are permitted if not offensive, discriminatory, violent or intimidating; facial tattoos generally not acceptable unless for cultural, religious or medical reasons

  • Interventions when required
  • Overseeing and facilitating safe movement around the site
