Queenswood School is recruiting a Housekeeper to join our support team. We are looking for passionate people to ensure our sites are safe and comfortable, covering all aspects of housekeeping. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness in the homes and will have a flexible approach and be able to respond quickly to requests for assistance. Queenswood School is set across two sites in a beautiful rural location in Herefordshire.

Responsibilities:
- Deliver and maintain a clean and tidy environment throughout the school, in line with operational standards and ensuring that work processes comply with statutory regulations.
- Ensure standards are delivered in all areas of the school in a timely and efficient manner, as part of the wider team.
- Identify and report damage, faults and other related issues to the maintenance department or Head Teacher to ensure that we continue to meet quality standards and statutory regulations.
- Due to the location of the school, you will require your own transport.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- We ask that you can demonstrate the values needed for the role, transferable skills and life experience. In return, we will give you all the training and support you need to progress.
- All applicants must be willing to undergo safeguarding screening appropriate to the post, including checks with Disclosure & Barring Service/Disclosure Scotland and at least 2 references which cover the last 3 years.
- For all our services we will request references from where you have worked with either Children or Vulnerable Adults. Please be advised that references may be requested prior to interview for roles within our Schools.
