Key Responsibilities:
- Lawn mowing and turf maintenance
- Hedge cutting, pruning, shrub maintenance
- Flowerbed, woodland, and wildflower area upkeep
- Weed control and herbicide application
- Basic landscaping works
- Leaf clearance, litter picking, and gritting duties
- Operating and maintaining grounds machinery and tools
- Supporting biodiversity and estate presentation standards
- Professional and personal conduct
Qualifications & Competencies:
- Previous experience in grounds maintenance, horticulture, landscaping or estate maintenance
- RHS/NVQ Horticulture qualification or equivalent practical experience preferred; PA1 & PA6a desirable
- Physically fit for a physically challenging position
- Confidence in using mowers, strimmers, hedge cutters, and ground equipment
- Positive attitude with willingness to learn and develop
- Full UK driving licence (no more than 6 points)
