We are seeking an experienced Electrical Shift Technician to work at a high-quality corporate site set across 65 acres, comprising multiple buildings including offices, gym facilities, eating areas and collaborative group spaces. This is a critical role supporting the safe, compliant and continuous operation of electrical systems and infrastructure across the site during shift coverage.
We are looking for a fully qualified Electrical Maintenance Engineer who will deliver high-quality planned and reactive maintenance while maintaining the highest standards of safety, compliance and client service. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining business-critical electrical assets within a large corporate environment and will operate as an Authorised Person LV as required.
Working Pattern: 4 nights on, 4 days off, 3 days on, 3 nights on, 4 days off, 4 days on, 6 days off
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) in line with set schedules to maximise plant reliability and operational effectiveness
- Undertake electrical reactive maintenance, emergency works and extra works in accordance with contract requirements
- Act as Authorised Person (LV) when required, ensuring safe systems of work are followed
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards and the Health and Safety at Work Act (HASAWA) at all times
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to PPM activities and electrical plant
- Respond promptly and effectively to electrically related helpdesk requests and faults
- Conduct technical surveys of electrical services and systems, reporting findings to the Senior Critical Engineering Manager (SCEM)
- Produce material cost lists for minor works and coordinate initial actions for client requests, enquiries and complaints
Professional and Personal Competencies / Qualifications:
- Proven experience carrying out PPM and electrical reactive maintenance
- Experience working within large corporate or critical environments
- Fully qualified electrician with 18th Edition and C&G Electrical Installations
- Completed electrical apprenticeship
- IPAF and PASMA certifications
- LV / HV experience desirable (training can be provided and funded)
- Strong communication skills with the ability to deal professionally with client enquiries
