Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Huyton (L36) to recruit a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to start in September 2026.

Role Overview
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with ASC
- Assist in managing SEMH behaviours when required
- Support pupils in accessing the curriculum and developing social and communication skills
- Implement personalised learning plans and behaviour strategies
- Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and external professionals
- Foster a safe, engaging, and structured learning environment
Ideal Candidate
- Has experience supporting children with ASC and/or SEMH needs
- Is patient, resilient, and adaptable
- Can build strong, positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Has a proactive approach to behaviour management
- Ideally holds a relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent)
- Is passionate about making a difference in children's education
