We are recruiting on behalf of a highly respected early years provider located in Huyton, is seeking a passionate and experienced Nursery Assistant to join their dedicated team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a nurturing and enthusiastic individual to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young children.
As a Nursery Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring the holistic development and well-being of the children in your care.
Working alongside our experienced Early Years Practitioners, you will create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment that fosters learning, creativity, and social-emotional growth.
Your day-to-day duties will include:
- Providing a high standard of care and support to children aged 0-5 years
- Promoting the children's physical, intellectual, emotional, and social development through engaging activities and play-based learning
- Assisting with the planning and implementation of age-appropriate educational programmes, drawing inspiration from the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
- Observing and documenting each child's progress, ensuring that individual needs are met and that any concerns are promptly addressed
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe nursery environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations
- Effectively communicating with parents and carers, providing updates on their child's development and fostering positive relationships Requirements:
- Experience working with children
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- A genuine passion for early years education and a commitment to providing the highest-quality care
- A flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
