The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 £ per year.
This role plays a key part in ensuring the smooth operation of our hire fleet by coordinating the safe and efficient movement of equipment, including despatches, returns, and transfers. You’ll be tasked with the timely receipt and processing of deliveries, as well as preparing hire fleet and customer equipment to support accurate order fulfilment. The role is also responsible for ensuring that all fleet items, accessories, and packages are processed through the delivery system and branch network efficiently, accurately, and safely.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate the shipping of hire fleet from one destination to another.
- Arrange appropriate transportation.
- Complete and accurately record pre delivery checks based on working procedures.
- Take steps to avoid Quality control issues.
- Receipt and processing of deliveries in a timely manner for onward processing.
- Creating and organising photographic records of despatches.
- Streamline shipping and transportation processes.
- Manage priority shipments and plan future shipments.
- Proactively record and action any missed, late or lost consignments.
- When considered necessary or appropriate by the company you may be required to carry out any duties considered within your skill and competence to assist the smooth running of the business.
