We are working with several supportive primary schools across Liverpool who are seeking EYFS Teaching Assistants / Learning Support Assistants to support children during this crucial stage of development.
Responsibilities
- Supporting children within Reception / EYFS
- Working 1:1 and in small groups
- Supporting learning through play‑based activities
- Assisting with early phonics, communication and language
- Supporting children's social and emotional development
- Working closely with the class teacher and EYFS team
Qualifications and ideal candidate
- Have experience working with EYFS‑aged children
- Be nurturing, patient and enthusiastic
- Understand the importance of routine, consistency and safeguarding
- Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 childcare qualification (desirable)
- Hold or be willing to apply for an enhanced DBS
