Your new company Desian Education are proud to be supporting a two‑form entry primary school in Kirkby that is easily accessible via public transport as they are looking to appoint an experienced and reliable teaching assistant for a 1:1 position within a reception class. Your new role As a teaching assistant within this school you will be joining an experienced and supportive EYFS cohort, working in collaboration with a reception class teacher to promote the engagement and focus of pupils by utilising an array of learning equipment and building strong constructive relationships. Your main responsibility will be to support a high function ASD pupil on a 1:1 basis.

What you need to succeed:

  • Full “Right to Work” in the UK
  • Be at least NVQ Level 2 Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent qualified
  • Experience supporting SEN, ASD is advantageous
  • Be able to commit to a full‑time contract consisting of 32.5 hours per week
