Duties of a Vehicle Technician
- Carry out fault diagnosis, servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a range of vehicles to a high standard
- Conduct MOT tests, subject to holding an active MOT licence
- Accurately diagnose vehicle faults and advise on necessary repairs
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety standards and workshop procedures
- Report on vehicle condition, safety, reliability, and performance to the Company Owner
- Work efficiently within a busy workshop environment, maintaining quality standards
- Collaborate effectively with team members to meet operational targets
Requirements of a Vehicle Technician
- Experience within a similar role as a Vehicle Technician is essential; formal qualifications such as NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent are desirable but not mandatory
- An active MOT licence is highly beneficial
- A full UK driving licence with minimal points
- A dedicated, motivated team player with a commitment to producing high-quality work
