MET Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced and motivated CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator to join an established company in the Kingswinford area. The successful candidate will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC machinery using Fanuc controls to produce high-quality precision components in line with engineering drawings and customer specifications. This position is a straight permanent position with the client.
Duties
- Program, set, and operate CNC milling and/or turning machines with Fanuc controls.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and CAD data.
- Create and modify CNC programs to optimize production efficiency and quality.
- Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and machining parameters.
- Conduct first-off inspections and in-process quality checks using measuring equipment.
- Troubleshoot machining issues and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate production and quality records.
- Ensure machines are operated safely and maintained in good working condition.
- Work closely with production, quality, and engineering teams to meet delivery targets.
Working Hours and Pay
There are two positions available, each on different shifts. Friday (£19.00 per hour) or 2:30pm - 1:30am Monday Thursday (£19.00 per hour plus £1 shift allowance). Please be aware that the shift that you choose will be fixed, it won't be rotating shifts.
