We are looking for Female Support Workers to join our Service based in Kidwelly. This role requires you to be a driver and hold a full UK driving licence. As a Support Worker, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities. You will be working with a diverse group of people, each with their own unique abilities and needs. From assisting with daily activities to providing emotional support, you’ll play a vital role in their lives. We support a variety of people with different interests such as music, craft, cooking, gardening, allotment work, local walks, board games, pool and darts. The most important thing to the people we support is having someone kind and caring whom they can spend time with and chat.
What we're looking for:
- A genuine passion for supporting others.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- A positive and empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities.
- A full UK driving licence and ability to drive.
- Female applicant only (exempt under Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9, Part 1).
Contract options:
- Full‑time: 37.5 hrs
- Part‑time: flexible hours based on availability
Shift times:
- All our services are 24‑hour care. We prepare the rotas at least 4 weeks in advance so you can still plan your personal and social life.
- Day shifts: between 07:00-22:00
- Sleep‑ins: 22:00-07:00 (enhanced flat rate payment of £64.20).
All roles are subject to an enhanced DBS check and suitable references.
