We are seeking an experienced and motivated Band 7 Wellbeing Service Manager to lead and develop services across the BSW (Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire) locality. This is an opportunity for a skilled Band 7 Therapist or registered Nurse with a passion for service improvement, clinical leadership, and delivering high‑quality, person‑centred care. The Wellbeing Service Manager leads and manages the Wellbeing service across Bath and North East Somerset (BanES), Swindon and Wiltshire (BSW), ensuring effective delivery within Integrated Neighbourhood Teams (INTs) and alignment with local system priorities. To support flexibility and work‑life balance, the successful candidate will be based at the site closest to their home within the BSW area, with travel across the locality as required.

Responsibilities

  • Implement, deliver, and develop the Bath & North East Somerset, Wiltshire and Swindon Integrated Neighbourhood Team Wellbeing Service, ensuring robust, effective and efficient delivery of all service KPIs to achieve contractual and financial targets.
  • Use best practice and innovation to achieve high quality, excellent patient/client services in line with Bath and North East Somerset (BanES), Swindon and Wiltshire (BSW) system priorities and Fit for the Future: 10 Year Health Plan for England.
  • Support and coordinate service development and transformation initiatives across NHS, Local Authority, and VCSE sectors.
  • Develop and maintain sustainable professional relationships both internally and externally, including advising and supporting colleagues through change.
  • Plan, monitor and report on work plans, budgets and financial targets.

Qualifications – Essential

  • Relevant professional registration and education, or being working towards a post‑graduate level or equivalent knowledge and experience.
  • Understanding and experience of population health management.
  • Understanding of behaviour change methodologies and personalised care models.
  • Experience using strong leadership skills to support service development and transformation.
  • Demonstrated experience working collaboratively across NHS, Local Authority and VCSE sectors.
  • Ability to plan and complete work plans in challenging situations.
  • Evidence of ability to work with multidisciplinary and multi‑agency teams.
  • Aware of recent national and professional guidance and evidence related to Fit for the Future: 10 Year Health Plan for England.
  • Confidence in assessing and prioritising using guidelines and protocols, and supporting colleagues in professional practice.
  • Demonstrated CPD to validate professional practice.
  • Wide range of adaptable communication skills.
  • Ability to develop sustainable professional relationships both internally and externally.

  • Experience of leading a project.
  • High level of emotional intelligence.
  • Confident and effective networking skills.
  • Ability to prepare and deliver presentations to groups.
  • Good understanding of finance and budgetary management.
