Applicants are invited to apply for a Junior Clinical Fellow post in General Surgery. This is a full time 12-month fixed term appointment. We are looking for a CST level doctor to join our exciting General Surgery team. The post-holder will work closely under the direction of the Surgery Consultants and Specialty Registrar Trainees with duties to include day-to-day inpatient care, operating with and assisting senior team members in theatre and Out‑Patient clinics.
The department has Colorectal (including IBD, pelvic floor, colorectal malignancy), Upper Gastrointestinal and General surgery teams. The post holder will have opportunities to get involved with audit and research. The out‑of‑hours commitment will include a full shift rota at 1 in 12 frequency.
