The Emmaus Catholic Academy Trust is committed to delivering an outstanding digital environment that enables staff and students to thrive. We are seeking to expand our central IT team by appointing an IT Mobile Engineer to support the strategic and operational delivery of our IT systems across a cluster of schools.
The role is suitable for an enthusiastic, motivated IT professional who is passionate about providing high‑quality technical support and playing a key role in maintaining a secure, reliable, and innovative IT environment across the Trust.
As IT Mobile Engineer, you will work closely with the Cluster IT Manager to ensure that day‑to‑day IT services run smoothly, providing first‑line support to staff and students, managing help‑desk tickets, and assisting with the installation, maintenance, and repair of hardware, software, and audiovisual equipment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the development of IT infrastructure and contributing to documentation and asset management.
- Ensuring systems remain safe, compliant and aligned with CAT standards.
- Continuously improving IT services across the cluster, including development of SharePoint sites and assistance with major IT projects.
- Upholding safeguarding, security and data protection requirements consistently.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be required to complete an enhanced DBS application and will be subject to further safer recruitment checks, such as references, with ID documents retained on file. All shortlisted candidates will be subject to an online check as part of our due‑diligence in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education 2025.
