Know Your Numbers

As an Individual Giving Manager, you'll need to demonstrate your understanding of fundraising metrics. Brush up on key performance indicators related to individual giving, such as donor retention rates and average gift sizes. Being able to discuss these figures confidently will show that you’re data-driven and results-oriented.

Showcase Your Empathy

This role requires a blend of target-driven focus and empathy. Prepare examples of how you've built strong relationships with donors in the past. Share stories that highlight your ability to connect with supporters on a personal level, ensuring they feel valued and appreciated.

Familiarise Yourself with CRM Systems

Since managing a CRM system is part of the job, make sure you understand how to leverage it for fundraising success. If you have experience with Beacon or similar systems, be ready to discuss how you've used data to inform your strategies and improve donor engagement.

Prepare for Scenario Questions
