As a Level 5 Nursery Assistant, you will play a key role in planning and delivering engaging, child-centred activities in line with the EYFS framework. You will support children's learning, development, and well-being while working collaboratively with colleagues to create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive nursery environment.
- Support the delivery of high-quality EYFS provision and learning activities.
- Plan and lead age-appropriate, play-based learning experiences.
- Observe, assess, and contribute to children's learning and development records.
- Promote children's social, emotional, physical, and communication skills.
- Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and staff.
- Support less experienced staff and contribute to best practice within the setting.
- Ensure safeguarding, health, and safety policies are followed at all times.
Qualifications:
- Level 5 qualification in Early Years or Childcare.
- Diploma in Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Experience working in a nursery or early years setting.
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development.
- A caring, confident, and proactive approach.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
