Infant Feeding Support Worker – 30 hours per week – an exciting opportunity for a motivated, enthusiastic team player to work within the Tameside Integrated Infant Feeding Team as a Breastfeeding Support Worker. This rewarding position involves working across hospital and community settings to support families in making informed decisions about infant feeding during the antenatal and postnatal periods.
The role requires working closely with health and local authority colleagues to provide a range of services that support and promote breastfeeding across Tameside. As part of the infant feeding team you will support the implementation of the UNICEF UK Baby Friendly standards and help develop initiatives to embed these standards across the service. Other responsibilities include training, audit and data collection.
