We are seeking Support Workers to join our Core 24 Mental Health Team at Whiston Hospital, part of Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust's 24/7 Urgent Care Model.
Key responsibilities
Deliver round‐the‐clock support to individuals in crisis across multiple hospital settings including Whiston Hospital, Warrington Hospital, Aintree Hospital, and the Royal Liverpool Hospital.
Carry out assigned duties that involve direct care and observation of service users under the guidance and indirect supervision of qualified staff.
Report observations and details of mental state and risk factors to qualified staff.
Work with service users on an individual and group basis as outlined in the care plan and directed by the appropriate named lead professional.
Qualifications and experience
Previous experience working in a similar mental health or healthcare setting is preferred.
Good communication, empathy and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
