A Housekeeping Assistant will support a clean and safe environment for residents, working as part of a team to maintain standards of cleanliness and laundry services across the home. Location: Rowan Court Care Home in Newcastle-under-Lyme.
Responsibilities:
- Work with the team to uphold all housekeeping and laundry SOPs and hotel service standards.
- Perform cleaning duties following worksheet instructions.
- Apply appropriate cleaning techniques for varied surfaces and materials and maintain well‑presented areas.
- Respect residents' dignity and privacy, safeguarding personal spaces and belongings.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Health and Safety, including Moving and Handling techniques, Fire Safety and COSHH assessments.
- Experience cleaning laundry in a public setting.
- Demonstrated compassion and commitment to high‑quality service delivery.
- Flexibility to cover a range of responsibilities on short notice.
Required: ADBS disclosure check (cost covered by Avery Healthcare) and proof of eligibility to work in the United Kingdom.
