The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced and motivated Hospitality Service Manager to lead our housekeeping team and ensure consistently high standards of cleanliness, comfort and care throughout the hotel.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the housekeeping department, ensuring guest rooms, public areas and back-of-house spaces are maintained to the highest standards.
Through clear communication, training and positive leadership, you will help create an environment where people feel confident, valued and motivated to perform at their best.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, manage and support the housekeeping team, providing regular coaching, feedback and performance development Ensure all guest rooms, public areas and back-of-house spaces meet consistently high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation Recruit, train and develop team members, helping them feel confident, capable and supported in their roles Develop and maintain housekeeping procedures that provide clarity, consistency and quality Plan and manage rosters, allocate tasks effectively and ensure daily duties are completed to a high standard Monitor and control housekeeping budgets, including labour and supply costs Manage stock levels of housekeeping supplies and equipment, ensuring availability and cost control Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests or concerns, ensuring issues are resolved with care and efficiency Benefits Our enviable employee discounts on bedroom rates across the LGH hotel portfolio.

This role is ideal for someone who: Has proven experience leading a housekeeping team in a hotel or similar environment Leads with empathy, fairness and clear communication Understands that high standards are best achieved through well-supported, motivated teams Takes pride in creating clean, comfortable and welcoming spaces for guests Is organised, detail-focused and confident managing schedules, standards and budgets Remains calm and solution-focused when handling challenges or guest concerns Values teamwork, structure and consistency while encouraging personal responsibility Hotel The Holiday Inn Bristol-Filton is ideally located just off Junction 1 of the M32, close to the University of the West of England Bristol (UWE) and MOD Abbeywood.
