We are looking for an experienced Domestic Assistant to join our amazing team at Swallowfield Gardens.
Part-time - 24 hours per week, 6 hours per day over 4 days to include alternate weekends. Swallowfield Gardens is a specialist care home in Horwich, Bolton which provides person centred, rehabilitative care services for people aged 18 years and above who may have mental health, complex needs and/or acquired brain injury with complex needs.
Our domestic team is vital in ensuring that all areas of the home are cleaned and presented in such a way that it is inviting and welcoming to everyone who lives, works and visits the home. We are looking for people who have exceptionally high standards of cleanliness and good paperwork skills, who can work with the care staff to ensure the best possible care within a homely environment.
Responsibilities
- To work as part of a team to ensure bedrooms, bathrooms, lounges, dining rooms & communal areas are cleaned and kept to a high standard.
- Duties include but are not limited to: Mopping, high & low dusting, vacuuming, shampooing carpets, wiping/sanitising surfaces and touchpoints, cleaning and replenishing bathrooms, detailed cleaning of all areas and residents rooms.
- Someone who shows initiative and works well in a team.
