The predicted salary is between 10900 - 13000 £ per year.

Hybrid: Office in Whaley Bridge and home working if required. Travel around the High Peak when necessary.

Salary: £9117 (£25,949 FTE, pro rata based on a 37 hour working week)

Hours: 13 hours per Week. 1 Year Fixed contract

Reports to: Chief Executive Officer

This Severn Trent Community Fund supported position will create links between local businesses with skills/resources who want to make a positive contribution in their community and voluntary and community organisations who need varied types of support.

This new post will work alongside our group development team to engage local business and to then facilitate opportunities for them to positively contribute to their local communities.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To engage directly with local businesses to promote the benefits of community involvement
  • Sign up businesses to be involved in the project
  • To work with businesses to identify skills and resources that they could contribute
  • To work alongside the CVS Group Development to identify suitable community groups and activities for businesses to support
  • To attend local business and voluntary sector events to promote the project and its objectives
  • To organise events to promote the project and its objectives
  • To develop a recognition scheme to highlight businesses that have contributed
  • Work with other CVS staff to produce media/social media to publicise involvement and demonstrate positive effects
  • Identify barriers to business community involvement and help to develop solutions
  • Work alongside CEO to develop sustainability and develop future opportunities
