Millison Chase Limited is looking for a Class 1 (CE) Day Driver to join our logistics team. You’ll be delivering to retail stores during the day, handling both loading and unloading of roll cages, and ensuring all deliveries run safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Delivering to multiple stores per shift
- Loading and unloading roll cages using tail lift, side gate, and kick plates
- Collecting and returning empty cages
- Supporting trunking and store deliveries
- Following all health & safety and compliance policies
Key requirements
- Minimum 1 year on licence
- Maximum 6 penalty points
- Hold all 3 valid UK driving cards, Licence, CPC & Digi.
- Class 1 (CE) licence with tail lift, side gate, and kick plate experience
- Reliable, organized, and safety-conscious
Hours & Shifts: Start times from 05:00, with a combination of trunking and store deliveries. Shifts will not exceed 12 hours. Mix of short and long routes.
Induction & Training: Induction may last up to 8 hours, including drugs & alcohol test, driving assessment, and paperwork. Manual handling assessment to be provided before induction. Buddy training provided after successful induction.
Pay & benefits
£37,115.34 per year (£14.83 per hour). Temp-to-perm opportunity. Direct employment. PAYE Auto enrolled pension, Holiday accrued.
