HGV Class 1 Driver General Haulage (Days)

Millison Chase Limited are recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (CE) Drivers for ongoing general haulage and curtain-sided work across the UK. This is PAYE direct employment with consistent ongoing work available for professional and reliable drivers.

Pay Rates:

  • £16.00 per hour Days (PAYE)
  • £20.00 per hour Weekends

Job Details:

  • General haulage and palletised deliveries/collections
  • Curtain-sided trailers
  • Typically 1–5 drops per shift
  • Occasional hub runs / trunking work
  • Minimal handball involved
  • Drivers responsible for load security and internal stepping
  • Ensuring all loads are safe and compliant
  • Start times between 05:00am - 07:30am
  • Long shifts available within drivers’ hours and WTD regulations

Requirements:

  • Valid UK HGV Class 1 (CE) Licence
  • Driver CPC Qualification Card
  • Digital Tachograph Card
  • Good understanding of load security and compliance
  • Professional and reliable attitude
