HGV Class 1 Driver General Haulage (Days)
Millison Chase Limited are recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (CE) Drivers for ongoing general haulage and curtain-sided work across the UK. This is PAYE direct employment with consistent ongoing work available for professional and reliable drivers.
Pay Rates:
- £16.00 per hour Days (PAYE)
- £20.00 per hour Weekends
Job Details:
- General haulage and palletised deliveries/collections
- Curtain-sided trailers
- Typically 1–5 drops per shift
- Occasional hub runs / trunking work
- Minimal handball involved
- Drivers responsible for load security and internal stepping
- Ensuring all loads are safe and compliant
- Start times between 05:00am - 07:30am
- Long shifts available within drivers’ hours and WTD regulations
Requirements:
- Valid UK HGV Class 1 (CE) Licence
- Driver CPC Qualification Card
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Good understanding of load security and compliance
- Professional and reliable attitude
