Job Details

We are looking for professional Class 1 Drivers to carry out flatbed deliveries using articulated lorries with flatbed or swan‑neck trailers fitted with beavertails.

Responsibilities

  • Day work with early morning starts
  • Deliver plant machinery and equipment nationwide
  • Local and national deliveries
  • Long shifts available
  • Operate flatbed and swan‑neck trailers
  • Use beavertails for safe loading and offloading of equipment
  • Secure loads safely using straps and chains
  • Perform multi‑drop deliveries when required

Pay Rates

Days: £17.00 per hour
Nights: £18.00 per hour

Requirements

  • Valid UK HGV C+E (Class 1) Licence
  • Valid Driver CPC Card
  • Digital Tachograph Card
  • ADR licence in packages 1 to 9
  • Minimum 1 year Class 1 driving experience (for insurance purposes)
  • Experience securing loads using straps etc.
  • Good understanding of load safety and transport regulations
  • Good communication and timekeeping skills
