Job Details
We are looking for professional Class 1 Drivers to carry out flatbed deliveries using articulated lorries with flatbed or swan‑neck trailers fitted with beavertails.
Responsibilities
- Day work with early morning starts
- Deliver plant machinery and equipment nationwide
- Local and national deliveries
- Long shifts available
- Operate flatbed and swan‑neck trailers
- Use beavertails for safe loading and offloading of equipment
- Secure loads safely using straps and chains
- Perform multi‑drop deliveries when required
Pay Rates
Days: £17.00 per hour
Nights: £18.00 per hour
Requirements
- Valid UK HGV C+E (Class 1) Licence
- Valid Driver CPC Card
- Digital Tachograph Card
- ADR licence in packages 1 to 9
- Minimum 1 year Class 1 driving experience (for insurance purposes)
- Experience securing loads using straps etc.
- Good understanding of load safety and transport regulations
- Good communication and timekeeping skills
