Key Responsibilities
- Provide targeted pastoral support to help pupils develop positive behaviour, confidence and a love of learning.
- Monitor attendance and punctuality, working closely with families and the Local Authority to promote excellent attendance.
- Develop supportive action plans to help children overcome barriers to learning.
- Build strong, positive relationships with parents, staff and external agencies to ensure every child feels supported and valued.
- Support pupils with transition and reintegration following absence.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare relevant correspondence and reports.
