As a Housing Worker at Caring for Communities and People, you will play a vital role in the Hereford Accommodation Based Service Team, delivering supported accommodation to vulnerable adults over the age of 18 who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
Responsibilities
- Provide tailored housing‑related support to maintain or secure suitable accommodation.
- Collect rent and manage tenancy finances.
- Ensure health and safety standards are maintained and conduct accommodation inspections.
- Issue letters to residents when tenancy breaches occur.
- Support residents through challenges to achieve positive outcomes.
Qualifications
- Positive attitude to learn and develop, with a professional, calm, and caring demeanour.
- Flexible, patient, resilient, and professional.
- Experience in the housing sector is desirable but not essential – full training is provided.
