We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Healthcare Support Worker to join our practice team, working 30 hours per week over four days across our two sites in Blythe Bridge and Tean. The successful candidate will support the nursing and clinical teams by delivering a range of patient care and administrative tasks. This includes phlebotomy, supporting health checks, vaccination administration (including B12, flu and pneumonia where trained), and stock ordering.
You will also assist with clinical admin, help maintain patient records, and contribute to the smooth running of clinics. You will need to be flexible, able to travel between sites, and willing to cover staff absences. Experience in a general practice setting and familiarity with EMIS Web are desirable, though training can be provided.
As a growing and supportive training practice, we are also keen to offer development opportunities, including training in ECGs, diabetic foot checks, and other chronic disease monitoring to enhance the support you provide to the nursing team.
