We are seeking a Head of Design Technology for a high performing co‑educational secondary school in Bristol. The successful candidate will lead the Design Technology department across Key Stages 3 and 4, driving high standards of teaching and learning while fostering creativity, enquiry and strong subject leadership within the team.
Qualifications and experience
- QTS with a specialism in Design Technology.
- Proven experience teaching Design Technology across KS3 and KS4.
- Previous leadership experience or the ability to step into a leadership role.
- Strong curriculum knowledge and ability to drive departmental improvement.
- Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
- A proactive, ambitious and collaborative approach.
