Active Care Group's Care in the Home Wales division is growing, and we're looking for highly motivated, proactive Support Workers who share our commitment to providing empowering care that enables clients to live independently in their own homes.

What you’ll be doing:

You’ll be supporting a fantastic male client living with an acquired brain injury (ABI), helping him live life with dignity, comfort, and joy. Whether you prefer day shifts (8am-8pm) or wake nights (8pm-8am), each moment is a chance to bring companionship, confidence, and care right into the heart of his home.

  • Full time or part time available
  • 2 - 5 shifts a week available

In this role, you'll support one individual with complex needs, working regular weekly shifts to build a consistent, trusted care team. While hours are usually stable, the position is offered on a zero-hours contract as care packages can change.

About You:

You’re someone who truly cares—compassionate, dependable, and always ready with a kind word or comforting presence. You believe that great care begins with truly seeing the person behind the need. You bring valuable experience to your work and a willingness to keep growing. You’re a natural storyteller and listener, someone who finds joy in learning about the lives of others and building meaningful, trusting connections.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Genuine interest in providing top-tier person-centered care.
  • Passion for empowering clients to exercise choice in their daily lives.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to learn and maintain professional boundaries.

If you’re excited to be part of a supportive team where your role truly impacts others, we’d love to hear from you. Join Active Care Group and make a difference every day.

What We Can Offer You:

  • Up to £14 per hour depending on NVQ qualification
  • Potential for contracted hours after successful probation
  • Excellent training from our Learning Hub and clinical training from our nurses
  • Paid DBS Check
  • Regular consistent work with set rolling rotas
  • Accrued holiday pay
  • A Nest Personal Pension account
  • We recognise outstanding Active Behaviours via the Active Awards programme
  • Refer a Friend Scheme and earn yourself up to £1,000 by recommending someone you know
  • Support and guidance from our qualified clinical and business leadership teams so you can really develop your career with Active Care Group

What We Need From You:

  • Passionate about allowing the client to exercise choice and control over their own lives in everyday matters as far as they are able
  • Willingness to learn and develop
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willing to learn about different cultures and beliefs
