- permanentAnnualised hours contracts are paid in equal amounts of 12 months (September to August) and the appropriate element of payment for accrued annual leave for the duration of the contract will be incorporated into the calculation.
Hours of Work:
22.5 hours per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) to be worked over the College’s 36-week termQualifications: It is essential that you hold a minimum BACP accredited qualification at level
4. Experience: Experience of counselling young people 16+ is essential.
You will assist in delivering a counselling service to both staff and learners of the College within agreed timelines.
You will carry out approximately six client meetings per day.
You will regularly liaise with the College’s Health & Wellbeing Officers for staff and learners.You will also be a strong team player, be flexible and be comfortable with lone working.
You will have effective communication, interpersonal skills, be approachable and be able to demonstrate excellent organisational skills and time management ensuring effective prioritisation.
The candidate must also have a confidential/compassionate approach and have strong risk management skills and the highest levels of integrity.
This role will be undertaken on the College premises in Haverfordwest.
The College has a flexible working policy but this role is appointed on the basis that the postholder will normally be based in the College and the service will be delivered face to face, and by agreement with a client online, but from the College’s premises.The College welcomes job share applications for candidates looking for a flexible arrangement and encourage applicants to specify the number of hours/days they are interested in when applying.
