Our client is an international printing and marketing design organisation with over 50 years of experience. They are currently seeking a full-time Graphic Designer and Digital Print Operator who is looking to build a career and develop their future in digital print, design and marketing. They offer all aspects of design, marketing and print solutions to their customers. Their clients range from small independent businesses to large blue-chip companies. They design, print and provide a huge range of products for their customers, such as business cards, flyers, brochures, logos, menus, signage, promotional products, embroidered and printed clothing, etc. This exciting opportunity would suit someone who has the motivation and desire to work in a friendly, fast-paced environment. Additional training will be provided for the ideal candidate.
The Role:
- Design for print (Business Cards, Flyers, Brochures, etc.).
- Print production operating a Xerox printing device, including finishing, binding and packing.
- Customer service and internal sales.
- Dealing with new and existing clients on the phone, by e-mail and face-to-face.
- Working on quotations and following up with our client's customers.
- Helping out in all other areas of the business when required.
Key Requirements:
- Knowledge of Graphic design software (Adobe Creative Suite) and print production is essential.
- MUST have a minimum of 2 years design experience. If not, do not apply.
- Good customer service skills are essential (Excellent verbal and written English skills).
- Good organisation skills and a responsible can-do attitude.
- A desire to work in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.
- The ability to work closely with and upsell to new and existing clients.
- Previous experience working in the printing industry is advantageous.
Hours: 9am to 5pm; Monday to Friday.
Salary: To be negotiated depending on experience.
