About the Company

Role
As a Graduate Trainee, you'll learn the business from the ground up, build strong customer relationships and progress into a field sales and business management position.
Graduate Training Programme
First 6 months: Develop core knowledge of how the business operates – sales, warehouse, logistics, supply chain, administration, IT software and marketing. Build a deep understanding of the product range and the electrical wholesale industry. Start building relationships, winning deals and advising customers face‑to‑face over the trade counter, e.g. electricians, contractors and tradespeople. Begin your formal sales training course, attend Head Office training and network with other graduate trainees. Complete workbook assessments and earn training bonuses for your progress.
6‑12 months: Move into internal sales/account management, engaging with B2B customers by phone, e.g. construction companies, local government authorities, housing developers and hotels. Learn business development strategies and how to target and win new key accounts.
12 months and beyond: Progress to a varied B2B field sales management role with higher earning potential. Travel locally in your company car to meet clients, socialise, discuss projects and build strong relationships. Work towards running your own business within the group, gaining experience in staff management, purchasing and profit and loss. Managers enjoy significant autonomy thanks to the company's decentralised structure.
