Thomas Keble is a comprehensive school located in the Cotswolds serving students aged 11-16. Due to the retirement of the current postholder, we are looking to appoint a Governance Professional to act as Clerk to the Trustees and to advise the Board on all aspects of governance.
Responsibilities
- Provide an efficient and professional clerking service to the Trust Board, including procedural advice in carrying out statutory obligations and administrative support in fulfilling strategic functions.
- Prepare all Board and Committee meetings and minute them accurately.
- Have good understanding of school governance.
- Work flexibly, adapting working hours to attend all Board and Committee meetings and other activities as required by the Board.
- Communicate effectively, ensuring all Trustees are kept informed and equipped to perform their duties.
Qualifications and Experience

Benefits
Membership of the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) with employer pension contributions at current rates. Annual allowance of 150 hours for evening meetings (generally 6:00pm to 8:00pm).
